Preparing for the Park Lands Art Prize exhibition

by Marina Ritchie

We are thrilled to announce that our judges have completed their difficult and thoughtful task, selecting 80 works from 75 artists to be finalists for this year's Adelaide Park Lands Art Prize.

Our heartfelt thanks go out to all entrants for their fabulous entries and the effort that went into their meticulous creation.

All entrants have been notified by email; advising whether or not each work has been selected as a finalist.

Due to the overwhelming number of entrants (a record 480+) our esteemed judges certainly had their work cut out for them, but we can't wait to see our finalists!

Finalists, don't forget to mark your calendars for our invitation-only Opening Night, on 24 March, at the Adelaide Festival Centre, where we'll announce the winners of this year's prize! If you are a finalist, please respond to the emailed invitation that you would have received.

The Adelaide Park Lands Art Prize is a celebration of art, community, your Park Lands, and your inspiration.

Even though only 80 made it to the final, each work of the 480 submitted is an inspiration and valuable.

We are grateful to the amazing art community, for their contribution in making the Art Prize such a success already.
